Understanding the Different Types of Electric Generator Technology

A third choice is a magnet-driven generator. This is a DC electric generator that is driven by the natural magnetic force. The only requirement is that the speed of the rotating shaft must be faster than the natural electricity force. The problem with this type of electric generator lies in its inability to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.
